Madrid Habsburg
This blog is mainly going to showcase images of places in Madrid that were existing around the time of the Habsburg kings. In Spain there are different types of eras of royal ruling by different Kings and Queens, and this blog is about the Habsburg era.
On a personal account, I remember participating for this assignment back in the Fall of 2017 and this Madrid walk was extremely hard for me to understand and complete. I did complete the route, but, I did not write a good reflection essay about it.
Since I am doing this assignment for a second time, my recent experience was been much richer and calm. I strongly recommend looking through these places during the afternoon before 2PM. You get to have fun by people watching, smelling the Madrid air, blending in with society and just enjoying the moment.
I don’t have much to say historically, however, I do have a great memory of how I traveled around and observed this specific part of Madrid. I look forward to possibly giving family and friends a tour of those areas.
Sincerely,
Sal Galvan
