Medieval Madrid

Medieval Madrid Blog

This is the last Madrid walk assignment that is required to complete all of the official Madrid walking tour assignments. I would like to say that this Madrid walk has a lot more history to process within such a small frame of areas that you will see. This is the second time I have attempted to complete this assignment. This first time I went through this walk was with my Study Abroad group and we had a hard time understanding where to go or how to complete everything. After doing it for a second time in a row, I am glad to say that it was easier and doing it a second time makes it more familiar.
Unfortunately, I am not able to summarize fully what I went to see and what was explored in depth. I think it is very interesting to think about Madrid as a little city that once had walls surrounding it similar to that way Avila is formed and many other small ancient villages in Madrid. The pictures taken of this area will definitely give a better idea of what my experience was like.
